This was a BEAST of an episode. We'll let Havan Iron Oak fill you in on what's happening in Dillon and then I will ATTEMPT to sum up what we discussed besides that. HIO says, "The final game of the regular season has the East Dillon Lions slated to host the Dillon Panthers in what is sure to be the mother of all cross town rivalries. When the Panther boosters question the fitness of the East Dillon field it quickly escalates from toothpick pranks to torn up turf. Meanwhile the pro-life witch-hunt to get Tammy terminated for counseling the pregnant Becky escalates. Adding to the chaos, Mindy goes into labor, Billy goes on a caffeine bender, and soon after the boy is born, Uncle Tim gets arrested when the cops bust the chop shop. Meanwhile Vince is reeling from the shooting death of his childhood friend and the gang that he's been running with want him in on getting vengeance."
Josh and Anthony talk about all that, plus... well, it might be easier to list what we DIDN'T talk about. We didn't talk about Bruce Springsteen. Or men's water polo. We discussed nothing about Pennsylvania or the Amish or railroads or genome sequencing. Other than that, we pretty much covered it all.
We also do the Coach Taylor Inspo-rating, the DAMMIT LANDRY Hate-O-Meter, and all the other weekly awards on this week's INSTANT CLASSIC episode of Reliving the Lights: A Friday Night Lights Rewatch Podcast.
